The terms of a commission.

Klenodie creates made-to-order embroidered works on cotton canvas.

The collection currently includes:

Originals
Pieces created from a drawing, handwriting, signature or other source material supplied by you.

Editions
Existing Klenodie illustrations personalised with the name you provide.

Each piece is prepared individually and embroidered to order in our Copenhagen studio.

Small variations in line, texture, stitch placement and proportion may occur as part of translating a drawing into embroidery. These are part of the material process and are not in themselves considered defects.

When ordering an Original, you upload the material you would like us to translate into embroidery.

By uploading material, you confirm that you have the necessary right or permission to provide it to us and to have it reproduced for your personal order.

We reserve the right to contact you if the uploaded material is unclear, technically unsuitable for embroidery or requires clarification before production begins.

If we are unable to produce the piece as ordered, we will contact you and, where appropriate, cancel and refund the affected order.

Editions are based on existing Klenodie designs and personalised with the name you enter when ordering.

Please check all personalisation details carefully before submitting your order.

The placement and proportions of the name are adapted individually to suit the composition. Product images therefore show examples rather than an exact automated preview of your finished piece.

All prices are shown in DKK and include applicable VAT, unless clearly stated otherwise.

The total price payable, including any shipping charges, will be shown before you submit your order.

We currently ship within Denmark.

Payment is processed securely through the payment methods offered at checkout.

The available payment methods are shown before you complete your purchase.

Payment is authorised and processed through our payment provider. Klenodie does not directly store your full payment card details.

Before submitting your order, you are given the opportunity to review the products, personalisation, delivery information and total price entered during checkout.

Once your order has been submitted, you will receive an electronic order confirmation containing details of your purchase.

The order information is stored electronically by us as part of our order records and is available to you through the confirmations and communications we send in connection with the order.

All Klenodie pieces are made to order.

Our current production time is approximately 2–3 weeks from the date your order is confirmed.

Once dispatched, delivery within Denmark typically takes 1–2 business days.

Because our products are personalised and made to order, please contact us as soon as possible if you notice an error or wish to make a change.

If production has not yet begun, we will try to accommodate reasonable amendments or cancellation requests.

Once production has begun, changes or cancellation may no longer be possible.

This does not limit any statutory rights you may have in relation to faulty or incorrectly supplied goods.

Klenodie products are made to the customer's specifications or are clearly personalised.

This applies to both:

• Originals made from material supplied by you
• Editions incorporating the name you choose

The ordinary 14-day right of withdrawal therefore does not apply to these personalised products, in accordance with the applicable exception for goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised.

Your statutory rights in relation to faulty goods are not affected by the absence of a right of withdrawal.

If your piece is faulty, damaged or does not correspond to what you ordered, please contact hello@klenodieofficial.com as soon as reasonably possible after discovering the issue.

For purchases covered by Danish consumer law, consumers generally have a two-year legal right to complain about defects.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, remedies may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.

Klenodie remains responsible for the order while it is being transported by a carrier arranged by us and until it has been delivered to you or another person you have designated to receive it.

If your parcel arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible and include photographs of the packaging and affected piece where possible.

Klenodie pieces are made using natural and carefully selected materials.

Please follow the guidance in our Care section to help preserve your piece.

All Klenodie designs, illustrations, photographs, written material, branding and other original content on the website remain the intellectual property of Klenodie / STUDIOH or the relevant rights holder.

Purchasing a Klenodie piece does not transfer intellectual property rights in Klenodie's designs.

You may not reproduce, commercially use or distribute Klenodie designs without prior written permission.

For Originals, you retain any rights you already hold in the original material you provide to us. You grant us only the permission reasonably necessary to prepare and produce your order and to handle related customer service.

We will only use customer-specific material or completed personalised pieces for marketing or social media where we have an appropriate basis or permission to do so.

Where you are given a specific choice during ordering about whether your piece may be shared, we will respect that choice.

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, how long we keep it and your rights.

If you have a concern about an order, please contact us first at hello@klenodieofficial.com so we have an opportunity to resolve the matter with you.

Eligible Danish consumer complaints may be submitted through the Danish consumer complaints system. Complaints are initially handled through Mæglingsteamet for Forbrugerklager, and unresolved cases may in relevant circumstances proceed to Forbrugerklagenævnet through Nævnenes Hus.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Danish law.

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer protection rights that apply to you under Danish or other applicable consumer law.

Any dispute that cannot be resolved between us may be brought before the competent complaints body or court in accordance with applicable law.

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time, for example if our products, services or applicable legal requirements change.

The version that applied when you placed your order will continue to govern that purchase.
